Job Title: Project Coordinator - Summer Contract Co-Op Position

Location: Kelowna, BC

Salary:

$2,600 per month. Approx. 30 hour average work week. Position is subject to funding approval.

Work Term:

May 1 – August 31, 2018, could start or end a bit earlier if preferred by the student.

About Okanagan Vacation Properties:

OVP is a small, growing business specializing in managing Vacation Rental properties in the Okanagan, mainly Kelowna and Big White.  Some of the properties are owned by the company, and others are managed for a diverse client base. We specialize in maximizing our customer’s revenue by marketing our properties to more markets than our competition through partners like Booking.com, Tripadvisor, VRBO and Airbnb.  Each owner and property are unique and require a tailored approach to their marketing needs.

About the position:

If you are looking for a typical 9-5 job, this position is not for you! However, if you are wanting to learn from an entrepreneur who has created a successful business and real estate portfolio while working from home on a flexible schedule, you may be our candidate!  You aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty when necessary to get the job done. Your pride in your work is your biggest reward.

You will be working as a partner in the hands-on success of Okanagan Vacation Properties. Only yourself and the owner, a past UVic BCom Grad, will be pushing forward to provide a greater customer service experience to our clients and customers. This means you will have direct impact on the success of this business and will be the main operator throughout part of the summer months.

We are looking for an individual who can deliver exceptional customer service and has a lot of energy for marketing and attention to detail.  As we grow, we need to start creating more systems and formal processes at a rapid pace, as well as spend more time at each property. Although you will be working closely with the Owner, you will need a lot of autonomy to complete tasks on your own. The hours and days of the work week will vary and fluctuate but are also very flexible in return.  A typical workday would be 10am-4pm.
